See and observe warning signs
Typical selective perception, or is there something more behind it?
While the symbols of the classic warning signs warn of a possible eventuality, the consequences of a low battery charge are not at all conditional and can only be avoided by using a charging cable.
So one could say that instructions, here the warning signs, are more likely to trigger the intended action if the consequences occur with a high probability according to experience. Maybe this consideration could be used as an occasion to get rid of unnecessary warning signs.
